How often have you been turned down from a job or a thing you had pursued due to lack of work experience? This is a most common thing among people who are starting fresh out of college. It also happens when you decide to change a career after working in a certain one for a while. How can you prepare better for a job and make a case for yourself to get hired with less or no experience? The simple thing is you have to be the stand out candidate.
When you plan on working in a certain field or area of your choice, the work you do should reflect the passion you have for the job and that in turn can translate into a career for you. There are people who have the skills and expertise to do the job but still find it hard to clear the interviews or get the right job. These type of people might struggle a bit but they will definitely succeed later. Nobody is 100 percent sure about liking the job they get into.
It is perfectly alright to make a few transitions before picking a long term career. You can do few internships or may be work for 1-2 years to understand what you actually like doing. There are people who take a break after working in a certain field/area for few years. This gap year or time they spend to introspect and figure out what they want to do next becomes a new chapter in their lives. Don't worry about the experience when you are just starting, trust your instincts and gut feeling to take you in the right direction, rest shall follow!
