The earth's crust and uppermost mantle form the lithosphere. The lithosphere is divided into small individual plates which move slowly, constantly changing and reshaping the earth's outer layer, these plates are called tectonic plates. The movement of tectonic plates sometimes causes friction and heat which triggers a series of events which leads to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
When you observe your everyday activities, there are things which follow a regular pattern and certain things which keeps changing. The changes that happened over a period of time has made you the person you are now. These activities are like the tectonic plates, any friction between them will cause a turbulence which will lead to a disaster.
How can you prevent earthquakes? While you cannot prevent each and every earthquake that happens, you can take precautionary measures which significantly reduces the impact. Similarly whatever turbulence you come across in your life, take the necessary steps to reduce it's impact before it leads to a disaster. Each challenge you face in this process will prepare you for the next one!
