When confronted by an enemy in battlefield, the soldier may not get a second chance. In general, even when your target is set it takes lot of determination, focus, practice and time to hit the bull's eye.

Now your target is set, the next steps you do, the work and effort you put to reach there will be clear to you.
If your dream job is to work for Google or Apple and you don't have any experience to make the cut, then focus on getting an internship or equivalent job to gain the experience. In other words get some target practice, your target remains the same but the way or approach you follow to get there might change. The way in which you make things possible will take you to your end goal.
