The rules of engagement are changing everywhere, be it reaching out to a potential customer, an employee, a business, an investor, a nation etc. The businesses are figuring out which can be the best strategy to reach their potential customer, how to find the right fit for a job position ?, is it worth hiring a resource and on-boarding virtually ?, the productivity & hiring is going down in various sectors.
Things are not getting back to normal post lock-down, on one end the traditional businesses and non-technology oriented businesses are exploring ways to align themselves with technology. On the other hand, the rising problems with no permanent cure in sight. The competition is going to increase in high revenue generating sectors. You might have already experienced this, not a day goes without seeing an advertisement online or similar competitor ads on social media and offline too.
The solution will be to innovate and find innovative solutions to address the problems in hand. If you are a fresher, a graduate looking for your first job then remember this. Every job in the market today needs experience and you have to find ways to gain that experience through internships, personal/team projects, volunteer work etc. You can engage with your potential employer through your work, skills and expertise only. Be swift to adapt, constantly up-skill, stay ahead with updates in your field & never give up!
