PRODUCTIVITY MEASURED

The whole world is looking to get back to the new normal. During this time of crisis, very few sectors are able to manage operations with minimum impact. The IT sector was able to balance the situation with work from home solutions for employees. The education and training industry was able to switch to digital/online teaching format by addressing ongoing challenges. Is it possible to continue the same in the long run successfully?

What about the productivity of employees? The quantitative output of many companies will take a hit. Many global leaders are expressing concerns over a permanent work from solution as it brings a wide range of concerns and challenges along with it. The employees are now subjected to additional working hours, working on weekends etc. This contributes to a stressed work-life balance which in-turn affects productivity.

The online learning of tomorrow might not require an educational institution or infrastructure. Is it possible for this model to yield the same or better results than existing systems in place? The productivity of students will be affected as well in the former case. The new systems or innovations must address these issues to enable the students to be more productive and self-reliant to lead the world in future.
