How do you view leadership in life? Have you been in a position where you had to take the fall for somebody else? Do you see taking responsibility for the decisions you make as a mark of true leadership? In addition to these things there are various traits which make a person a good leader. It is important not just to own your decisions and actions but also the consequences which arise out of it. Have you made those tough calls in life?
If you are working in a team as a leader, how did you manage to get everybody on board with your choices? Whenever there was a disagreement or debate over an issue where you had half of the team on one side and the remaining on the other side, how did you get them to agree on a single version of solution? How did you evolve as a leader? Each person gets a time when he/she has to take up responsibility and make choices involving others in life.
It may happen that the decisions you take will make enemies for you and might not be right in perspective of others. The role and responsibility you carry outweighs every other thing and even if it means you end up hurting or being on the wrong ends of others. As a leader you must enable other people to achieve over and above of their limits, keep the team motivated to reach goals. You should stay inspired, motivated always to act as a single force to move things & scale heights in life!
