IDENTITY

What are the things you like the most which are not so dear to the people around you? How did you form the opinion about things which were added to your wish list? Did you see something or someone who inspired you to attach a liking to the thing? Do you effortlessly pick certain things when you go to shopping, buy groceries, travel somewhere? How do you choose when you are presented with many options? How do you make your list selective?

A lot of things we do in confidence are actually borrowed from something or someone around us. We start owning those behaviors as our own and train our sub-conscious mind to follow the same. The result of which can be seen in our daily actions and choices we make. With or without your conscious effort, the kind of people you attract in life and people who become responsible for crucial decisions in your life are as a result of this.

Is it required to constantly distinguish yourself from something to be true to yourself or to make decisions influenced by those thoughts? Not necessarily as long as you don't start characterizing your influenced identity and act on borrowed thoughts. When you have been brought up in a certain way, the things you observed during your childhood will have a bigger impact in your life. If you practice looking at things as they are without any preconceived notions , the experience of life will be a more fulfilling one for you!
