The one thing which stops most of us from doing the things we want to do and/or becoming the person we always wanted to is the fear of failure. When success is guaranteed we don't think twice to do a job but even if there is a 1% chance of uncertainty our judgement is clouded by the fear of failure. Today, we are in a world where we are made to believe that success and money are the only things which sets us apart from others.
The moment you take into the idea of following or relying on others for all your decisions in life, the dependency becomes a habit. When you have to break this habit the thought of failing or something going wrong can stop you from doing the things you want to do. There is no right time to step out of your comfort zone and that time is always now.
The best thing to do is to follow your instincts and gut feeling all the time. It will lead you to the answers you are seeking for and failures will only be a part of the learning process. A best example is of a public speaker who is afraid and not comfortable speaking in front of an audience. As the speaker does it often, the fear dies down gradually with a growing sense of confidence. This is what we need to do every time in order to overcome our fear of failures.
