Have you ever heard about the word 'Wantrepreneur'? What differentiates an entrepreneur from a wantrepreneur? Many of the aspiring entrepreneurs are complaining about the problems, difficulties they are facing, be it finding resources, prototyping, raising funds, scaling-up, beating their competition etc.
Let me tell you what a real entrepreneur does. A real entrepreneur is focused on solving problems through his grit and passion for what he is doing. He is a risk-taker who works hard to be the best and failures don't stop him. An entrepreneur is constantly working towards a vision, he/she innovates, adapts to changes quickly all the time enjoying the process.
A wantrepreneur is worried about failure, depends on others for funds or thinks that only funding can solve his/her problem. According to Thomas Edison, “Genius is 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration.” If getting rich is your only aim then you might be a wantrepreneur. Remember that an entrepreneur does not look for shortcuts and is not worried about what others think of him/her! It's time to realize if you are an Entrepreneur or just a Wantrepreneur.
