CHALLENGING WORK

"Seeking a challenging job position at your esteemed organization", does this phrase sound similar to you? If you have applied for a job position with a resume before, then it is very likely that you may have done this. If we are following the same things since ages and expect it to work when times are changing, is it a wise strategy to follow? What is that uniqueness you possess which makes you stand-out from the flock?

Each company looks for certain traits in their employees which are unique to those people. How can you exhibit those traits which you already possess to secure the job you want? A common mistake which many job seekers make is not following up post an interview/rejection. You have to take the feedback from the person who interviewed or rejected you and have to work on those insights. Follow-up & interview with the same company again after 6 months, see if anything has changed at their end.

Don't just say it but mean it. "Actions speak louder than words", when an opportunity is given to you, make sure to put all the efforts required to get the work done. Remember that it wouldn't be called challenging if it can be achieved easily and that is what made you to sign-up for the job in the first place. If you find that you are not contributing enough, find a way to ensure your work is noticed. The more challenges you overcome the more opportunities you will get to excel in your career!
