Last year, it was around during this time of the year I was driving through the beautiful landscapes of Alaska. Aurora Borealis is a natural light display in the earth's sky. It is a phenomenon which occurs as a result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. It is also called as northern lights. I was chasing the northern lights in pitch dark on the tough terrains of fair banks in Alaska all alone.
This was one such adventure of a life time experience in the wilderness of Alaska for me. I had no mobile network and was navigating with the help of offline maps. There were times when I was terrified about what if my car broke down? what if the trail ended abruptly? what if someone crashed head-on with my car? and many such thoughts. I reached a spot and switched off my car head lights. I waited in the darkness for several hours and what I witnessed later was ethereal!
Life is one such journey where we have many such darker moments, disturbances all along, in order to witness the brighter side you might have to wait in the darkness sometimes. The most valuable life lessons are learnt from your own experiences. It does not matter if you are extremely successful or barely tasted success in your life, you just have to learn and move forward each time.
